The manual doesn't make mention of any automatic Cd factor, and there is no allowance to enter one in the vent proeprties.
Is any Cd applied to the vent areas entered by BF? What value?
If not, given the difference between width and height of a vent for flow and the non linear effect of changing one or the other, what is the recomemnded scaling method so the vent sizes entered in BF actaully reflect the expected vent performance?

It is installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\BRANZFIRE\2011. this doesn't have user write access.
Data (cone folder, thermal.mdb etc) is in C:\Users\AUGM01185\Documents\Branzfire\2011\dbases which does have user write access.

Can you check the install was done by user with admin privileges. Have you installed into a network drive or into an area which is not the default install location? Do you have a writable 'my documents' folder?

"View endpoints" works as usual.

Similarly, File - Print - "print summary of inputs and results" pops up an error message "the specified path/file name cannot be accessed or is invalid"
File-Print-"print current graph" gives "runtime error 424 Object required" whihc then crashes BF

File-Print-print results using notepad gives an error message "tmp.txt not found - create new file"

OS = Win7/x64.

Anyone have any ideas?

I am using Branzfire 2011.1 and I am having problems printing the output to pdf documents.
On both Windows 7 and XP pro machines Branzfire fails to print to PDF using ADOBE X Pro.

On older versions of Branzfire and Adobe printing to PDF's worked.

Any comments?

Try changing your windows locale setting to use a period instead of a comma for the decimal symbol.

You can do this under windows control panel, regional and language options, customise.
